Uses of Erlotinib:
- The drug is used for treating patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), pancreatic cancer and other types of cancer.
- It treats either locally advanced or metastatic cancers.
How Does It Work?:
- Erlotinib is a protein-tyrosine kinase inhibitor.
- By inhibiting the protein, it hampers the tumor growth.
