Ritomune 100 Mg Tablet is an antiretroviral drug composed of 100 Mg of Ritonavir. Manufactured by Cipla Ltd, it is used with other drugs in antiretroviral therapy to treat HIV patients.

Uses

Ritomune 100 Mg Tablets are used along with other antiretroviral drugs to treat HIV infections, in a treatment called highly active antiretroviral therapy (or HAART). It is usually combined with other protease inhibitors.

How do the Ritomune 100 Mg Tablets work?

Ritomune 100 Mg Tablets consist of Ritonavir, which belongs to the class of drugs called protease inhibitors. This stops HIV viruses from replicating and multiplying by blocking their access to protease. Protease is a vital viral enzyme for the HIV virus.

This medication does not cure HIV but when taken in combination with other antiretroviral medicines, this drug can decrease HIV viral load in the body and eventually make it undetectable.
